September 2nd Cruise to Olivadi’s Restaurant 32 Guild St in Norwood lead by Bert Carrison. Meet at S&S in Walpole and depart 6:30pm. Headcount needed in advance. Ample parking is available at Bank lot across the street. This is the last rolling cruise for Thursdays this season.
September 7th Membership Meeting at Finnegan’s Wake, Walpole, MA. Meeting time 7:30pm.
Sunday September 12th Baystate Corvette autocross event at Fort Devens Airfield in Ayer, MA. (Rain or Shine) Rocco and Andy leading. Event is from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Departing from Kmart parking lot in Milford, MA. Contact Roocco or Andy for time of departure.
September 12th ALS Cliff Walk in Newport RI. Will include Corvette display with Cape Cod Corvettes. The event is in recognition of all who suffer from ALS including those who have passed away from this terrible disease as did our own Phil Henault. EMCC has donated $50 for a memorial brick in Phil’s name. Joel Baker will lead. Contact Joel for details.
September 14th Static Cruise night at Shaw’s Rt. 109 in Medfield.
September 18th Lions Field Day at Adams Farm in Walpole. Annual club fund raiser and display of cars. Departure plans to be announced.
Sunday September 19th Cruise lead by Paul Tenaglia to Myopia Polo Club 435 Bay St in South Hamilton, MA. Meet at Shaw’s parking lot in Medfield at 12:00 noon. Entry fee $10.00. Bring chairs, beverages and blankets.
September 21st Static Cruise night at Shaw’s Rt. 109 in Medfield.
Sunday September 26th Rocco and Gail host another Baystate Corvette Road Rally. Starts at Piccadilly Pub in Westborough, at 8:45am. This is a 200 mile rally and ends with a cookout at Rocco’s home.
Sunday September 26th Cruise “Vettes to Vets. (rain or shine) 9:00am to 3:00pm. Meet at 11:30am at Marriott Hotel 270 Concord Rd. Billerica, MA. Show site is Bedford Veteran’s Hospital in Bedford, MA. No admission fee but request a “goodie bag” of items for veterans and bring flags to wave on caravan to hospital. For details check www.vettestovets.org . Departure plans to be announced.
